This awesome trip will take you from big cities, to neat towns and interesting Scottish festivals, all the way to wild oceanic explorations made in sea kayaks. Days 1-2 Portland, ME: Introductions and orientation in Maine's most hip port city before we set off across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia.
Days 3-7 South Shore, Nova Scotia: After arriving in Yarmouth by ferry, the group will head along the renowned Lighthouse Route on the South Shore towards Halifax. Relax, catch a bite to eat, and watch a movie in the enchanting city of Lunenburg, a World Heritage Site. From Lunenburg, we'll proceed on to the bustling city of Halifax and discover one of the world's finest harbors.
Days 8-11 Antigonish: Head to the site of the world-famous Scottish Highland Games where you'll have an opportunity to be dazzled by bagpipes and men in skirts throwing massive objects!
Days 12-15 Cape Breton: Explore the famous Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Sea kayak around Lake Brasd'Or
and take in the abundant marine life on this amazing voyage.
Days 19-20 North Shore: Discover Nova Scotia's rugged Fundy coast. As we make our way along the famous Evangeline Trail, we'll meet fun folks and hopefully sight a few whales along the way.
Day 20: Wrap Up and Return Home!

Highlights: Highland games, sea kayaking, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, amazing scenery, and free time to explore.
