Best of New England
The best the northeast has to offer; more rocks, roots and mud!
We mean the best! Fifteen days packed with more single track, more ski resorts, more mud, and more fun. Better yet your accommodations are a mixture of indoors and camping so you have the best of both experiences. Add in riding ski lifts, eating out, going to the movies, relaxing on the beach, a high ropes course, and you can not go wrong.
Days 1-3 Durham: Your trip will start in Durham where you will get to know your group and try your skills on a ropes course. For something a little different we will spend a night in a yurt. You will have time to relax on the warm sand at Hampton Beach and perhaps try some long boarding if the surf is up.
Days 4-5 Bear Brook State Park: There are miles of wooded single track, rolling hills and even technical sections to challenge you. After riding, there is a sandy beach for relaxation and a lake to swim in near your campsite.
Days 6-8 Pillsbury State Park: Pillsbury is full of New Hampshire’s classic down and dirty mountain biking. You’ll find plenty of water, mud, and rocks as you ride on fun double and single track trails. You will also take part in bike maintenance workshops, where you will learn more about how to adjust derailleurs, brakes, hubs, wheels, and other important parts of your bike.
Days 9-11 Killington Ski Resort: Located in the Green Mountain National Forest, Killington will give you plenty of opportunities to improve your riding ability as you navigate the diverse trail network. Don’t worry about the uphill, as we will take the lift to the 4241-ft. summit.
Days 12-14 Mt. Snow: Finish off your trip in style on one of the best trail networks on the East Coast. In August of every year pro racers from around the world come here to compete in the NORBA/Chevy Truck series races. Just 25 minutes up the road is Jamaica State Park where you can swim under a waterfall, hike, and explore the river.
